The community in the Iris mobile app is a place to share Japanese videos with subtitles so other learners can watch them with Iris. These rules keep it useful and safe.
What is never allowed
Hateful or harassing content, sexual or sexually suggestive content, violence or dangerous acts, content that targets or exposes a private person, spam, scams and misleading titles, and subtitles or videos you have no right to share, including full anime episodes, films or TV uploaded without permission. Iris has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
Reporting and blocking
Every video has Report and Block in its menu, and reporting needs no account. Iris reviews every report within 24 hours. A video with several reports is hidden while we look, and content that breaks these rules is removed together with the account’s ability to share. Blocking hides someone’s videos from you right away.
Copyright
If you believe a shared video or its subtitles infringe your rights, report it with the reason “It uses someone’s content without permission” or write to iris.extension@gmail.com with the video title and your contact details. We remove infringing content promptly.
