Most reading features work entirely on your device. Here are a few useful places to start.
Study Studio
Open More options in the Iris toolbar, then Study with Iris. Import text or EPUB, study local media and subtitles, or practice saved sentences. Studio data stays on this device. PDFs you open in Chrome open in Iris automatically, with meanings on the first five pages free and every page with Pro.
Reading a page
Iris starts in Focus mode: open a Japanese webpage and point to a word for its reading and meaning. Choose click instead of hover, change languages, or try Full color, Adaptive color, and No color from the Iris toolbar. Pause a site or manage excluded sites in My Sky settings.
Pro features
Sign in to Iris and start a 14-day trial or choose a paid plan to use meeting capture, Japanese writing, every page of PDFs, unlimited image reading, and vocabulary sync. Local reading, vocabulary, and daily review remain free.
Your account
Manage billing and download invoices in Your plan. Team owners manage seats and invitations in the team workspace. Your transcripts remain in the extension on the device where you captured them.
